He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Gallagher and Elsie Gallagher; his brother Ernie Gallagher; and his brothers-in-law, Erling Jensen, Wes Smith and Harry Smeltzer.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Gallagher; his children, Robert Gallagher and Natasha Gallagher (Eileen Hatten); and his sisters, Glennette Smeltzer, Marie Jensen, Connie Smith, Marlene Ellis (Art) and Anita Duffy (Mike).
