Jacob will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honour Jacob by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Jacob is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Jacob’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Agnieta Korsten; his wife Elma Klooster; his parents, Arie and Neeltje; his siblings, Atie and Neil; and his grandson Ian.
He is survived by: his children, Arie Van Seters (Margaret Lubbers), Peter Van Seters (Janey Van Dyke), Nellie Hiemstra, Joanne Vander Heide (William) and Jake Van Seters (Margaret Tams); and his brother Hugo. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Coaldale Canadian Reformed Church (2705 21st Ave, Coaldale, AB T1M0C1).
