He was predeceased by : his parents, Jakob and Christina; and his brother John Martens. He is survived by : his wife Cathy Martens of Coaldale; his sons, Trevor (Charmaine) and Todd Martens; his grandchildren, Ainsley and Addison Martens; his siblings, Bill (Bonnie), Ed (Linda) and Shirley; and his sister-in-law Audrey. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
