We are sad to announce that, on November 22, 2025, at the age of 73, Eleanor Mercer of Cochrane, Alberta passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her brother Fred Baziuk. She is survived by: her husband Doug Mercer; her children, Kyle (Erin Mercer), Scott (Lauren Mercer) and Kelsey (Matt Mercer-Slingsby); her grandchildren, Kaylin, Keira, Quintin and Julianna; and her brothers, Mike (Gail Baziuk), Bill (Maureen Baziuk) and Dan (Linda Baryliuk).
The family kindly requests that no flowers or gifts be sent. For those wishing to honor Ellie's memory, donations may be made in her name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
