With sadness, we share the passing of Marilyn Judy Hopson of Cochrane, Alberta. Marilyn, born on November 24, 1952, passed away on September 3, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Nettie Pylatuk. She is survived by: her father Steve Pylatuk; her daughter Carrie Hopson Stewart (Spencer); her granddaughters, Juliet of Cochrane, Bethanie Sulzle (Ben), Annalise Lacina of Sylvan Lake and Alberta; her son Tyler Hopson (Ryan Geisler) of Regina; and her siblings, Debbie Bien of Red Deer, Alberta, Shirley McConnell of Regina and Al Pylatuk (Mindy) of Surrey, B. C.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Speers Funeral Chapel (2136 College Ave, Regina, SK S4P1C5).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the MacKenzie Art Gallery, the Regina Floral Conservatory, or to the Canadian Mental Health Association in Marilyn's name.
