He was predeceased by: his father Conrad Bertelsen; his stepfather William Manson (Bill); his brothers, James Bertelsen (Jim), Lyn Bertelsen and Mick Manson; and his grandson Forest Fox.
He is survived by: his wife Eileen Bertelsen; his daughters, Belinda Lacombe, Billy-Joy Griffin, Renatta Fox and Savauna Dixon (Victor); his mother Irene Manson; his siblings, Larry Bertelsen, Brian Bertelsen (Dianne), Ken Manson, Nelda Pelz (Don) and Cindy Green (Larry); his grandchildren, Tawnee McLeod, Alexandra Cote, Nahanni Griffin, Siselia Griffin, Azaria Dixon, Colby Cote (Tianna), Denahi Dixon, Wulfric Fox and Athinias Dixon; and his great grandchildren, Nicholas Grandy, Sawyer Blanchet, Eleanor McLeod and Casey Cote.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Dewberry Community Church (15 3 St W, Dewberry, AB T0B1G0).
