He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Myrna; his children, Peggy Scanie, Alan Scanie (Rodena), Harvey Scanie Jr., Tricia Metchewais (Conrad), Tina Scanie (Kelsey Jackco), Melinda Fraser and David Scanie; his siblings, Joe, George, Chris (Marie), Cathleen, Donna (Ron), Jenny (Brown) and Arlene (Norman); his godmother Melanie Matchatis; his parents, Scholastique Scanie and Dominic Scanie; and his grandparents, Harry, Teddy and Corrina Scanie. He was also cherished by 23 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; numerous family and friends.
