Larry Karenko Obituary

The passing of Larry Karenko in Edmonton, Alberta leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on July 9, 2025 at the age of 58. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Larry shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Larry farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was predeceased by: his wife Shannon Karenko. He is survived by: his son Logan Karenko; his parents, Lloyd Karenko and Lillian Karenko; and his brother Terry Karenko. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Derwent Holy Spirit Ukrainian Catholic Church (2 St W, Derwent, AB T0B1C0).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation (Alberta), Canadian Cancer Society or charity of choice.
