We announce the death of Phyllis Stratton (Cold Lake, Alberta), who passed away on September 9, 2026, at the age of 83. Phyllis will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip Picoski and Mary Picoski; and her brothers, John Picoski and Mike Picoski. She is survived by: her husband Gary Stratton; her children, Randal Stratton (Toni), Cathrin Fisher (Ernie), Mark Daniel Stratton (Norma) and Jill Stratton; her grandchildren, Josh Stratton (Andie Ursaki), Danielle Stratton, Trevor Stratton (Andrea Whatley), Mark Stratton, Jessica Stratton, Johnathan Stratton (Megan Ng), Kristina Stratton (Chris Tohill), Lindsey Stratton (Kieran Mckee), Hannah Fisher (Aksum Polk) and Sarah Fisher; her great grandchildren, Gracie Boyle, Ginny Boyle, Genavieve Boyle, Piper Stratton, Noah Stratton, Sage Stratton, Hudson Tohill and Felix Stratton; and her siblings, Herb Picoski (Sherri) and Paulette Rose (Arthur). She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, extended family & friends.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Dominic Roman Catholic Church (811 Lakeshore Dr, Cold Lake, AB T0A0T0). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 10:50 AM and at 11:00 AM at the same location.
