She was predeceased by : her mother Anneliese Lenz; and her grandmother Maria Katharina Wirth. She is survived by : her children, Kathrin Fuchs-Shaffer (James) and Christopher Cox; her grandchildren, Samantha Fuchs-Shaffer and James Shaffer III; her siblings, Daniela Bender, Renate Warten, Stefan Fuchs and Regina Steeves; the father of her children Danny Cox; and her extended family, Germany and Alberta. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
