She was predeceased by : her parents, John Turchanak and Mabel Turchanak; her parents-in-law, Reta and Joe McGovern; her brother Richard Turchanak; her sister-in-law Monica McGovern; and her nephew Rory McGillivary.

She is survived by : her husband Edward McGovern of Cold Lake, AB; her sons, Michael McGovern (Angelle Vailas) of Boyle, AB and John McGovern of Cold Lake, AB; and her sister Judy McGillivary (Vancouver Island) of Nanoose Bay, BC. She is also survived by many cousins, friends & extended family.
