Kirke Fertig Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 21, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Kirke Fertig of Colinton, Alberta, born in Athabasca, Alberta. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Marvyn Fertig and Dorothy Fertig; his parents-in-law, Andrew and Antonina Beida (Sophie); his brother Wayne Fertig; his siblings-in-law, Edith and John Beida; his son-in-law Marshall Moroziuk; and his grandson Travis Fertig.

He is survived by : his wife Sophie Beida; his children, Agnes, Myles (Rita) and Darwyn (Cheryl); his grandchildren, Robyn Moroziuk (Myrna), Shaun Moroziuk (Sheryl), Rylan Fertig (Tiffiny), Tyson Fertig (Susanna), Megan Berke (Korey) and Bryce Fertig; his great grandchildren, Vanden Moroziuk, Kassidy Moroziuk, Halle Moroziuk, Elena Moroziuk, Kinsleigh Berke, Kennedy Berke and Wyatt Fertig; his brother Warren Fertig (Jan) of Red Deer, AB; his brother-in-law Joe Beida (Carol) of Kelowna, BC; and his close friend Olga Ross. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
