She was predeceased by : her father Leander Kroetsch; her son Matthew; her brothers, Allan and Richard Kroetsch; her siblings-in-law, Alfred, Jim, Brian Allers, Mary Allers and Roxanne Kroetsch; and her parents-in-law, Frances and John Allers.

She is survived by : her mother Phyllis Kroetsch; her husband Paul Allers; her son Nathan (Jackie); her grandchild Andrea; her daughter Vanessa; and her siblings, Jennifer (Lorne), Paulette (Raymond) and Mark (Cassie). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Bernadette may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
