Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Ed Kusalik of Daysland, Alberta, born in Chatham, Ontario, who passed away at the age of 76, on April 30, 2026. He was predeceased by: his wife Joanne (Holek); his parents, Steve Kusalik and Stephanie Kusalik; his brothers, Joseph Kusalik and John Kusalik; and his brother-in-law Roger Bruneel.
He is survived by: his children, Tanya Marie of Edmonton, Jody Lynn, Richard Schultz of Spruce Grove and David Michael of Lethbridge; his sister Helen Bruneel of Chatham; his sister-in-law Mary Kusalik of Lethbridge; and his grandchildren, Tyler, Jordyn, Kaylie Hawryluk, Rylee and Taylor Kusalik. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of the Prairies Catholic Church (5202 59 St, Daysland, AB T0B1A0). A burial will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Daysland Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
