She was predeceased by: her parents, John Heisler and Anne Heisler; and her siblings, Ed Heisler, Rich Heisler, Ken Heisler, Allen Heisler, Helen McMillan, Hilda Kroetch, Fran Burnup and Tudy Gillespie.
She is survived by: her husband Rod Zimmel; and her children, David Zimmel (Brenda), Janet Gartner (Mike), Tracy Habib (Amin) and Dennis Zimmel. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Prairies Roman Catholic Church (5202 59 St, Daysland, AB T0B1A0).
