He was predeceased by : his wife Ruth Hines; his grandson V. C. Hines; his son-in-law Randy Bass; his brother Gerry Hines; and his parents, V. C. Hines and Irma Hines.
He is survived by : his children, Marty Hines (Terry-Lynne) of Marwayne and Tammy Bass (Joe Bilan) of Fort Saskatchewan; and his siblings-in-law, Donna Hines of Stony Plain and Glenn Ewen (Lillian) of Dewberry.
A Celebration of Jim's Life will be held at the Dewberry Community Hall on Monday, May 2, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. donations in memory of Jim may be made to the Dewberry cemetery Fund or the charity of your choice.
