He was predeceased by: his son Kent Kokotailo; his parents, Bill Kokotailo and Pearl Kokotailo; his brother Barry Kokotailo; and his nephew Shae Kokotailo.

He is survived by: the mother of his children Beverly Kokotailo; his sons, Clayton Kokotailo (Chantelle) of Edmonton, Cory Kokotailo (Carla) of Fort Saskatchewan and Calvin Kokotailo (Lisa) of Red Deer; his grandchildren, Apryl, Julliet, Dom and Eve; his close friend Emily Young; and his siblings, Tom Kokotailo (Karen), Carol Eliuk, Debbie Catherwood (Mike) and Daphne Miller (Lorne). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews & other relatives.
