He was predeceased by: his wife Gwen Scott; his parents, Margaret Scott and George Scott; his parents-in-law, Jack and Evelyn High; and his brothers-in-law, Arthur Mielke, Roger High, Andrew High and Robert "Bob" High.

He is survived by: his children, Dawn Scott, Nate Scott, Teanna Scott and Daniel Scott; his grandchildren, Nate Scott, Teanna Scott and Yvonne Scott; his sisters, Marlene Evans (Dave) and Elaine Livingston (Don) of Cloverdale, BC; and his siblings' children, Jody Ellis and Greg Evans. He is also survived by two sisters from mom and dad.

Memorial will be held in Carstairs, AB and if COVID permits a larger gathering in Sorrento, BC in July.
