She was predeceased by: her husband Clifford Hitz; her daughter Shirley Anne Marie; her parents, Earl Bennett and Edna Bennett; her sister Betty Sheehan; her sister-in-law Joy Bennett; and her nephew Gerald.
She is survived by: her children, Laura Flett (Kevin) and Tracey McNeill (John); her grandchildren, Michael Flett (Amanda), Amanda Flett (Dan) and Connor McNeill (Cavelle); her great grandchildren, Mackenzie Flett, Kaden Flett, Norah Chipesia, Blakely Flett, Royce Chipesia, Carlene Flett, Waylon Flett and Holton Flett; her stepgreat-grandsons, Zachary Sokill and Blake Sokll; her stepgrandson Brady Matsuda; her close friends, Heather and Larry Kinden; her brother Keith Bennett; and her sister-in-law Barbara Hitz.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, February 24th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Dixonville Community Hall (1 St W, County Of Northern Lights, AB T0H1E0).
