She was predeceased by: her parents, Navin Aspeslet and Elsie Aspeslet; her stepmother Emily Aspeslet (Donald Barhurst); her sons, Kendall and Wayne Aspeslet; and her siblings, Gayle Murphy and Dennis Aspeslet.
She is survived by: her daughter Kari Aspeslet (Allan McKenzie); her grandchildren, Kaleena Riewe (Kevin) and Bryce Allen (Andrea); her great grandchildren, Tola, Ares, Maia Riewe, Noah and Willa Allen; and her stepchildren, Debbie Bambridge (Keith), Bonnie Richard (Kevin), Karen Rouque (Lloyd) and Donald Barhurst. She is also survived by her family, friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Arthritis Society or Peace Palliative Care Society in Karen's memory.
