He was predeceased by: his sons, Fred and Ed; his parents, Kathleen Palmer and Dave Palmer; his brother Lloyd Palmer; Philip and Irene Feist.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Palmer of Vauxhall; his sons, Jim Palmer (Michele) of Calgary and Ron Palmer (Rhonda) of High River; his grandchildren, Novak, Kort, Saville, Reid, Riley and Victoria; his great grandchildren, Myla, Aubrey, Rowan, Ramona and Archer; and his brothers, Percy and Gough. He is also survived by numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Tater's Hall (Formerly the Vauxhall Legion) (217 5 St N, Vauxhall, AB T0K2K0).
