He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl and Irene; his stepfather Karl; his siblings, Arnold (Olga), Art (Gene), Leonard, Lenora (Art) and Laura; and his parents-in-law, John and Sophia Sawchuk.
He is survived by: his wife Irene; his sons, Benny (Lisa) and Kevin (Laura); his grandchildren, Kyle, Kaylene, Ryan (Daelyn), Austin (Shae), Cole, Max, Tyler and Lexie; his great grandchild Araya; and his siblings, Vic (Elenore), Gert, Emil (Ollie), Karol (Russ), Dan (Cecile), Ken (June), Walter, Judy, Marvin (Lorraine) and Jimmy (Tamara). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, extended family, friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Tomahawk Lutheran Church. A burial will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Stollery Children's Hospital.
