He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Hendrix and Edna Hendrix; his brothers, Kirk and Brian; and his close friend Dale Jobbs.

He is survived by: his wife Valerie; his daughter Sherrie Hansen; his stepdaughter Melissa Heilemann; his grandchildren, Breanne, Kindra, Nikita, Dorian (Shaye-Lynn) and Tegan (Mylar); and his great grandchildren, Dominic, Kash and Harlow. He is also survived by extended family and close friends.

In lieu of flowers a donation can be made in Bruce's name to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation.
