He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Procychyn and Ruth Procychyn; and his siblings, Betty and Melvin. He is survived by: his brothers, Dave (Tracy) and Verne (Jean); his nieces and nephews, Travis, Brendon (Janelle), Kayla (Chris) and Carol; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Austin, Bentley, Madelyn, Ellie and Alexis.

When Covid hit, he moved back to Canada full-time, settling in Drayton Valley.
