We announce the death of Guy Dean Blakely (Drayton Valley, Alberta), who passed away on July 9, 2026, at the age of 67. Guy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nadine Johnson (Byron Blakely) and Heather Blakely Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Debby; his children, Jeremy Bertin, Joshua Bertin and Stephanie Blakely; his granddaughters, Olivia Beaudreau and Maya Bertin; his siblings, Elmer Blakely (Judy), Wayne Blakely (Amy), Gary Blakely and Byron Blakely; and his sibling-in-law Bobo.

The family has asked that any donations made in Guy's name go to the Canadian Cancer Society.
