He was predeceased by: his son Craig MacDonald; his sisters, Marlene (Ed), Doreen (Orval), Bernice (Walter) and Dorothy (Ray); and his parents, Theresa Dietrich and Leo Dietrich.

He is survived by: his children, Shelley MacDonald, Scott MacDonald (Tracy) and Lauri Latour; his grandchildren, Fawn, Leith (Sarah) and Kelsy (Will); and his great grandchildren, Joseph, Finn, Van, Henry and Pepper. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and wonderful friends.
