He was predeceased by: his son Roger Gay; his parents, Ethel Barr and Freeman Gay; and his grandfather David James Holmes. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Keyawasew-Gay; and his children, Corrine Gay, Leon Gay (Trina) and Tim Greenbank (Vicki).
