He was predeceased by: his wife Elsa; his granddaughter Mika Kimmiley-Anne; his siblings, Francis, Kathy, Toni (Wayne) and Leo; and his parents, Nellie Vanderleest (Petronella) and William Vanderleest (Wilhelmus).

He is survived by: his children, Brady, Michael, Ken (Randi), Karl (Michelle) and Janna; his grandchildren, Warren and Nicole; his great grandchild Leddy; and his sisters, Willi (Jack) and Petra. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins, with a ton of friends.
