With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen Christine Lightening (Drayton Valley, Alberta), who passed away on July 28, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her mother Yvonne DeOliveira. She is survived by : her husband Daryl Black; her sons, Jim Plamondon and Louis De Oliveira (Leona); her grandsons, Isaac and Evan; her daughter Dianne Plamondon; and her siblings, Carl Atkinson, Randolph Bryant, Teddy Wahl, Bonnie Findlay and Lorraine Foisy.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Karen's name and can go directly to The Lung Association, at Box 4700 Stn South, Edmonton, Alberta, T6E 9Z9.
