It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Joan (Zelmer) Gent (Drayton Valley, Alberta), who passed away on March 6, 2026, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her close friend Munro Stevens; her brother Kevin Zelmer; and her stepfather Willard Robinson. She is survived by: her daughters, Rachelle Bingham, Roxanne Gent and Rebecca Sheppard (Brian); her grandchildren, Brayden, Shayla-May, Taysen, Heidi Sheppard, Trenten Bingham and Mariah Feschuk; her great grandchildren, Josette and Lynette Feschuk; her parents, Marguerite Robinson and Kelvin Zelmer; and her siblings, Kelly Bateman, Rhonda Nelson, Brad Robinson, Rob Robinson, Michael Robinson and Shawn Robinson. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
