He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Gerlinger of East Coulee, AB. and Joe Gerlinger; his sister Betty Gerlinger; and his siblings-in-law, Michelle Gerlinger, Reg Greve and Brian Mackintosh.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Gerlinger; his brothers, Richard'Joe'Gerlinger, Pete Gerlinger (Glenda) and Jim Gerlinger (Debbie); his nieces and nephews, Jeff Gerlinger (Jamie), Jaimie Morgan (Chris), Graham McLachlan, Erin McLachlan (Travis), Jodie Larson-Pendock (Kyle), Joel Gerlinger (Cassidy), Jared Gerlinger, Kyle Gerlinger and Shelby Bolin (Matt); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ashely, Alivia, Rena, Weston, Walker, Cohen, Sienna, Halle and Sophie; his stepson Steve Sedgwick (Mary Lou); his stepgrandchildren, Kalen and Jennica; his stepson Rob Sedgwick; his stepgrandchildren, Dawson and Ruth; and his pet Riley.
