He was predeceased by: his father John Holmen. He is survived by: his wife Beverley Holmen (McLean); his children, Natalie (Greg) and Carson (Ashley); his grandchildren, Eden, Kennedy, Spencer and Mason; his mother Myrtle; and his siblings, Janice Hawkings (Tim), Rhonda Espegren (Frank) and Wallace.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Dalum Lutheran Church or a charity of choice.
