Muriel Naegeli Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Muriel Naegeli (Drumheller, Alberta), who passed away on September 11, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Calvin Bailie and Viola Bailie; her husbands, Douglas Blanchett and Bernard Naegeli; her children, Sherry Carr and Rick Blanchett; her granddaughter Athena Blanchett (Tina); and her siblings, Stan Bailie, Doreen Poole and Marion Faulks.

She is survived by: her sons, Curtis Blanchett (Dianne), Gregg Blanchett and Kevin Blanchett (Shelley); her grandchildren, Jennifer Allen (Jonathon), Christopher Carr (Shannon), Michelle Sinclair (Barry), Michel Blanchett, Erin Walton (Tyler), Mathew Blanchett, Michell Blanchett, Mary Taylor (Don), Katie Cheyne (Ryan) and Kacey Blanchett (Joe); her great grandchildren, Aodhan, Conor, Ruairi, Jacob, Johnathon, Owen, Anthony, Abby, Matthaius, Madilynn, Olivia, Bennett, Blythe, Colson, Colton, Rylee and Asher; and her brother Don Bailie.

As a member of both groups, she was able to expand her friendship circle and was so disappointed that the pandemic disrupted these hobbies and friendships.

In memory of Jean, donations can be made to the Drumheller Salvation Army, The Pioneer Trail Center or to your own choosing in lieu of flowers.
