He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Vasko and John Vasko of East Coulee; his wife Georgie Currie; his children, Scotty and Terri; his son-in-law Mike; and his siblings, Phyliss and Larry.
He is survived by: his aunt Lynne; his uncle Bill; his children, Tracy Symowoniuk, Willie Samel Jr., Mike Samel (Annie) and Cindy (Piper); and his grandchildren, Treighton Samel, Tanya Conroy, Jamie Conroy and Joey Conroy.
