With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Doris Henke (Duchess, Alberta), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Doris left this world on December 3, 2025 at the age of 93, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Annie Jones and Earl Jones; her significant other Fred Henry Henke; and her grandchildren, Kevin, Danny, Cindy, Stonewall, Christopher, Lorelei, Trey and Dimitri. She was also cherished by her seven sisters, her daughter and son and their families, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews as well as old and new friends.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Donalda Cemetery.
The last years of their story saw them retire from the farm to Donalda, then to Bashaw with Fred's Alzheimer's diagnosis and finally to Brooks, Alberta, where they both resided with family near them to the end.
