He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilbert Forsen and Christina Forsen; his son Dale; his brother Art Forsen; and his brother-in-law Art Reiten.

He is survived by: his wife Marit Reiten; his daughter Carolyn Virovec (Les); and his brother Ken Forsen (Jean). He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Thom's Funeral Home and Reception Centre (477 Margaret Ave, Duchess, AB T0J0Z0).
