He was predeceased by : his parents, Casper Lehner (Cass) and Elizabeth Lehner (Betty); his brother Cary; his sister-in-law Susan; his nephew Cary Jr. (Bud); and his nieces, Alisha and Tasha.

He is survived by : his wife Myna Phillips; his children, Nelson (Richelle), Michael (Tara) and Michelle (Dale); his grandchildren, Kaidyn, Kaleb, Megan, Carrie and William; and his siblings, Kerwin (Diane), Raymond (Helene) and Sherleen (Richard). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
