He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Hansen and Jens Hansen; his daughter Katharine Dawson; and his son-in-law Rick Dawson. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Wiebe; his daughters, Beverley Neigum (Steve), Wanda Evans (John) and Arlene Zandbelt (Blaine); and his grandchildren, Vicky Seidler (Brett), Pamela Barg, Joshua Barg (Nichole), Desirae Kavanagh (Jason), Brandon Neigum (Kristen), Taylor Latrace (Cody), Sherae Hubert (Joel), Kayla Wood (Jesse), Brycen Zandbelt and Chase Zandbelt. He is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) or Duchess Mennonite Church in his memory.
