We are sad to announce that on August 25, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Rita Shippelt of Eckville, Alberta. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Rita Shippelt to show support.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Doreen Shippelt and Rudolph Shippelt; her sister-in-law Nola Shippelt; her nephew Kelly Smith; and her grandparents, Mildred, Ensio Kujala, Marie and Anton Shippelt.

She is survived by: her pets, George, Elmo, Joe, Jack and Jill; her siblings, Teresa Smith (Phil), Sharon Stauffer (Rick), Kevin Shippelt (Tina) and Erwin Shippelt; and her friend Wayne Schultz. She is also survived by great) nieces, nephews, cousins.

A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Eckville Community Hall, Eckville, Alberta (5305-5315 52 St, Eckville, AB T0M0X0).

Donations can be made on Rita's behalf to the Alberta SPCA or the Rocky Organization for Animal Rescue Society (ROAR).
