He was predeceased by: his son Scott Houston; his grandson Rhett DeLeeuw; his parents, James and Margaret; his in-laws, Lawrence and Marie; his siblings, Newton, Pam, Morris and Tommy; and his in-laws, Marg Houston, Jack Wild and Ken Bradshaw.
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Biswanger; his daughters, Susan Anderson (Darcy), Shelley Dyrland (Darcy) and Sherry DeLeeuw (Darwin); his grandchildren, Dustin Anderson (Karos) and Kristin Boomer (Mitch); his children, Logan Dyrland (Kimberly), Tyson Dyrland (Samantha), Shayna Bleil (Jace), Harley-Ann Hansma (Josh), Pacean DeLeeuw and Hunter DeLeeuw; his brother Ivan Houston (Trudy); and his in-laws, Larry Biswanger (Aggie), Fern Bradshaw, Muriel Guzman (Hector) and Ruby Houston. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Eckville Community Centre (5305-5315 52 St, Eckville, AB T0M0X0). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Bradshaw Cemetery.
