As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Aafke may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her husband George; and her great grandchildren, Jorge and Andy. She is survived by: her children, Walter (Betty), Tony, Freeda (Harry), Jenny, Margaret (Peter) and Ron. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; as well as many great and great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Immanuel Canadian Reformed Church (5280 Edgemont Blvd NW, Edmonton, AB T6M2P6).
