She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Michael Skowronski and Katie Lukasiewich; her siblings, Len Skowronski and Elaine Skowronski; her sons, Sean and Ryan James; her nieces, Natalie Talbot and Tara Thue; her nephew Loren Skowronski; and her grandchildren, Ashton and Katie James.
She took Tai Chi classes, joined a race-walking club, and in recent years, she participated in activities with the Wellspring Cancer Support Foundation, taking Qigong classes and joining their choir and drum circle.
