It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Adina Wollenberg (Edmonton, Alberta), who passed away on January 21, 2026, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Adina Wollenberg to pay them a last tribute.
Adina was predeceased by: husband Alex Wollenberg; close friend Oscar Miller; parents, Theodore Zelmer and Mathilde Zelmer; and siblings, Gustav, Robert, Eric Zelmer, Selma Beierle and Tabea Zelmer.
Adina is survived by: children, Josephine Anderson (Doug) and Dwayne Wollenberg; granddaughters, Leah Fitka (Mike) and Jennifer Anderson; great grandchildren, Tyler and Brooke Fitka; and brother Adolf Zelmer. Adina is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 29th 2026 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Serenity North Central Chapel (10129 Princess Elizabeth Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T5G0X9). A graveside service was held on Friday, January 30th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Westlawn Cemetery (16310 Stony Plain Rd, Edmonton, AB T5P4A6). A memorial service was held on Friday, January 30th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the West Meadows Baptist Church (9333 199 St NW, Edmonton, AB T5T6E8).
