She was predeceased by: her husband Artur; her parents, Jose Sousa and Sofia De Sousa; her brother Manuel Pereira De Sousa; and her sister-in-law Adriana Rodrigues Correia.
She is survived by: her children, Helen Damaso (Mariano), Arthur Costa (Olinda) and Anna Teixeira; her grandchildren, Mark Damaso (Debbie), Kevin Costa (Chynna), Scott Damaso, Michael Costa (Michelle) and Melissa Teixeira; her great grandchildren, Sophia, Mateo, Emma, Ariana, Cristiano and Marco; and her sister Conceicao Soeiro (Jose). She is also survived by numerous relatives and many dear friends.
