It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Albert Allan Smale of Edmonton, Alberta, born in Turner Valley, Alberta, who passed away on January 3, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Burt and Elsie; and his brothers, Terry (Patty) and Ken (Lorene). He is survived by: his wife Beth Smale; his children, Bobi-Sue (Peter), Albert "Albie" (Pauline), Dean (Jessica), Lora (Dave), Gary (Mia) and Jody (Brian); his grandchildren, Theresa, Greg, Jared, Danielle, Jessica, Justin, Zachary, Ava, Olivia and Sofonisba; and his great grandchild Landon. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to the Edmonton Food Bank.
