He was predeceased by: his wife Yvonne Blanchette (Bossé); his parents, Gaudias Blanchette and Antonine Blanchette; his son Fernand; his daughters-in-law, Laura and Zeny; and his siblings, Leonard, Leon, Victor, Lucie, Leonie, Jeanne and Celarine.
He is survived by: his children, Clem (Line), Mitch (Lavina), Jackie (Gil) and Guy (Ginger); his grandchildren, Sarah, Curtis (Stacy), Darlene (Desmond), Valerie (Darcy), Chantel (André), Mark (Kirsten), Luc and Colin (Sharla); and his great grandchildren, Tanis, Taryn, Tyler, Megan, Brooklyn, Kaitlin, Parker, Hayden, Zofia, Maverick, Amelia, Jackson, Hudson, Emersyn and Nour. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Albert Catholic Church (7 St Vital Ave, St. Albert, AB T8N1K1).
