He is survived by: his sister Therese; his children, Norman Allarie (Virginia), Gail Latawiec (Randy), Denise McKechnie (Bruce) and Michelle Monroe (Dan); his grandchildren, Nicole, Ryan, Kale, Karmyn and Mariah; and his great grandchildren, Sydney, Kiera and Layne.
Sid's love for Esther transcended all bounds, and even in her later years when she developed Alzheimer's he always treated her with the same love and care, regarding her as his best friend until the very end.
