She was predeceased by: her parents, Hendrik Nijs and Hendrikje De Nijs (Schulting); her siblings, Nelly, Sophia, Bill and Lenie; and her brothers-in-law, Robert, Hank and Bill.
She is survived by: her sister Gretha Jongkind; and her sister-in-law Mary De Nijs. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
