With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Allison (Fonseca) Fernandes (Edmonton, Alberta), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 28, 2025 at the age of 76. She is survived by: her husband Aurelio; her daughters, Anoushka and Monisha; her son-in-law Ross; and her grandchildren, Theodore, Sebastian and Sienna.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 at the St. Matthew Catholic Church (13131 86 St NW, Edmonton, AB T5E3B5).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests well-wishers to consider making a donation in Allison's name to any institution focused on dementia research, or any other organization which supports patients of dementia and their caregivers.
