She was predeceased by: her son Silver Pekke Wamburu; and her father Silver Sabunyo. She is survived by: her mother Mary Muzaki; her siblings, Abubakr Mayambala and Olive Wanyenze (David Waniala); and her godson Edward Muwanga. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, and close friends.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 8th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Trinity Funeral Home (10530 116 St NW, Edmonton, AB T5H3L7). A burial was held on Thursday, January 8th 2026 at 11:45 AM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (14611 Mark Messier Trail, Edmonton, AB T6V1H4).
